1ER MAI creates graphic and functional clothing for women, men and unisex. Inspired by workwear and counterculture, their garments are made to order in their Montreal workshop. They are made from local, recycled or out-of-print fabrics. 1ER MAI uses upcycling to transform discarded clothes into new ones, preventing them from becoming waste. Used clothes are collected from local thrift stores and washed before being cut and assembled.
