Ever dreamed of creating your own ornament? Now is your chance to develop your creative side in a friendly, hands-on setting! 

All materials are provided (pattern, assorted fabric scraps, and thread), and you can assemble your creations by machine or by hand, depending on your preference.

What you’ll learn:

• Learn how to thread and use a sewing machine
• Discover a few hand-sewing stitches
• Assemble fabric pieces together
• Use fabric scraps creatively

Workshop format:

• Level: Beginner (no experience needed)
• Duration: 3 hours total (1 PM @ 4 PM)
• Price: 75$ per person

About the workshop leader:

Rachel Fortin weaves together design, craft, and visual art. For over twenty years, she has been transforming recycled textiles into poetic stories — creating clothing, accessories, utilitarian objects, and wall pieces. Through her studio Maison Tulipe, she celebrates sustainable craftsmanship and supports local artisans in their growth, while sharing her knowledge to keep local creation and savoir-faire alive. Forgotten textiles, rediscovered gestures: creating to make less, but better. Her practice invites us to slow down, listen to materials, and imagine differently.
